Reality Check

I don't know if anyone has noticed the little ticker on the right side of the page but it's says 25 days to go (or most likely fewer) until my due date. OMG!!! Talk about a reality check! In 25 days or less, our lives are going to forever be changed. We prepared as best we can. All the furniture is ready, the clothes are all washed, we made a final trip to Babies R Us on Saturday and yesterday Scott steam-cleaned all the carpets in the house. Everything is pretty much ready to go. Now it's just a waiting game -- waiting for little Elmo to arrive. We have another OB appointment this afternoon. It should be interesting to see if/how far I've progressed.

In the meantime, I'm just trying to enjoy the time that Scott and I have together. While I couldn't be more excited about having a baby, it is a little sad to see this chapter of our lives come to an end. Luckily, I know we have some amazing things to look forward to!
